Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo is a large-scale in-person event taking place in mid-October 2024, bringing together artists, industry professionals, and audiences to engage and connect in the field of performing arts. To support the event, a dedicated website was developed, serving as a central platform for event pass sales, programme registration, and event management.
Key Features
- Member Registration – User account creation, and profile management.
- Ticketing System – Secure payment integration, and digital event pass issuance.
- Programme Registration – Session booking with real-time availability updates, personalized itinerary, and notifications.
- Admin Portal – Dashboard for managing event pass sales, monitoring programme registrations, and generating reports for event orgainzer.
- Third-Party Integrations – Direct API integration with Swapcard to enhance attendee engagement, combined with integration to the on-site event vendor for streamlined check-ins and badge issuance.
Responsibilites
As the developer responsible for the ticketing system, programme registration feature, admin portal, and third-party integrations, I focused on creating a seamless user experience for attendees and efficient management tools for the organizer. This involved implementing payment flows, session management, and reporting tools, as well as connecting with Swapcard and the on-site event vendor, ensuring smooth data synchronization, streamlined check-ins, and reliable badge issuance throughout the event.
