Overview
M+ is an art museum dedicated to modern and contemporary visual culture. To facilitate its opening in 2021, a ticketing kiosk with a portrait touchscreen was developed to support the museum's ticketing operations.
Key Features
- User-Friendly Interface – Simple and clear navigation flow for fast ticketing with minimal steps.
- Portrait Touch UI – Optimized for a vertical touchscreen layout for easy ticket selection and navigation.
- Accessibility Features – By pressing an accessibility button located at the bottom of the screen, all content was moved to the lower half of the touchscreen, making it easier for users with limited reach to interact with the interface.
Responsibilities
As the UI developer, I was responsible for implementing the ticketing kiosk's user interface, ensuring it was visually appealing while remaining intuitive and easy to navigate for all visitors, including those with limited reach. I also collaborated closely with the backend team to ensure the interface was fully compatible with the museum's system, enabling seamless integration for efficient ticketing operations.
